FLOATING WEEK

We operate in Northern Patagonia, in the San Martín de los Andes area.

The fishing season in Argentine Patagonia runs from November 1st through May. The rivers we float and fish in this region are the kind every angler dreams of. These waters allow for a wide range of fly fishing techniques and gear: from small rods (3 or 4 weight) with floating lines and dry flies, to 10-foot 3–5 weight rods for nymphing, to traditional 6 weight setups ideal for throwing large terrestrials in the summer months (December to March), and larger rods for streamer fishing.

The Caleufú River deserves special mention — its prime fishing conditions, due to water levels, occur in December and January, with the possibility of extending into February depending on flow.

Program Overview

Upon arrival at San Martín de los Andes Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel to enjoy a relaxing dinner.
The following morning, after breakfast, we’ll drive to the river to begin the first three days of fishing and camping.
Each evening you’ll rest comfortably at a riverside camp, fully equipped for a cozy night under the stars.

After three days, you’ll return to the hotel in San Martín de los Andes for a night of rest and a hearty dinner. The next morning, after breakfast, we’ll head out to float and fish a second river for another three days.

On the final day, we return to the hotel for a farewell dinner and a good night’s sleep. The program ends the next morning after breakfast. If you have a scheduled flight, let us know and we’ll arrange your transfer accordingly.
